CORROSION protects ships, offshore wind turbines and onshore applications against fouling and corrosion. In an exclusive collaboration with high-end partners like Philips, we have developed a non-chemical alternative to prevent biological fouling. We are proud to introduce our UV-C Cooler: an extremely efficient cooler that is protected against fouling by UV-C light. CORROSION started testing UV-C light in 2017 to prevent the growth of biological organisms. The results are better than expected; they are both revolutionary and startling. This is partly due to the decision to use pillowplate technology. By combining these two well-known and proven technologies, we have developed a unique product that works extremely well and is environmentally friendly. The UV-C light prevents growth from surface water, while the cooler ensures an optimal exchange of heat.
