Help Mercy Ships save lives!
Your participation in the Charity Lunch directly contributes to the purchase of new mooring lines for the Global Mercy, the largest private hospital ship in the world. Every year this ship needs 1,100 meters of mooring line to be able to stay safely in the port of Freetown (Sierra Leone). There is a lot of swell here, which puts a lot of strain on the mooring lines. These circumstances place high demands on the mooring lines, causing higher than usual wear and tear. The total replacement of these mooring lines amounts to €27,500 per year.
