GORINCHEM – Evenementenhal Gorinchem expands with a second ultramodern exhibition hall. The name of this new exhibition hall is “Next Level” and will be given its own house style and website. The rebuild started a few months ago. The delivery of Next Level is at the end of August. Previously, Evenementenhal Gorinchem consisted of one large exhibition hall on the ground floor. The second exhibition hall will be on the upper floor, which will be connected one-on-one to the current hall by two central escalators.
Since 2016, Evenementenhal Gorinchem is owned by Easyfairs. This international exhibition organizer wants to use this mega-investment to further increase its exhibitions in Gorinchem. The upper floor of Evenementenhal Gorinchem previously consisted of a small part of the exhibition floor and numerous other spaces. The entire top floor has been dismantled in the recent period. One open space of 6,400 square meters has now been created, of which 5,800 square meters of exhibition floor and conference room. Next Level can also be used for external organizations to hold gala performances, small-scale exhibitions, company parties and congresses. In addition, they can benefit from the all-in formula (including stand construction, furniture, catering) in which Easyfairs specializes.
“Next Level will be an ultramodern exhibition hall that can be used in a multifunctional way. For example, there are several scholarships that have grown out of their jacket. They can now continue to grow by expanding to the upper floor. It also offers the possibility of having multiple exhibitions and events take place simultaneously. If a trade show or event has sufficient space on the ground floor only, the upper floor can be used for another event. Next Level is provided with a meter-long glass wall on the balcony that can be opened and closed for an ideal connection between Next Level and the ground floor. The wall also has an integrated black-out option, so that the glass wall can also be visually sealed off from the ground floor, “says Jeroen van Hooff, CEO of Easyfairs Netherlands.
Next Level also has a new reception room and two conference rooms, one with a wide screen of over twelve meters wide. One congress hall offers capacity for 350 people, the other room for 100. The largest room can also be divided into 2 × 175 people with a soundproof wall. In addition, the conference rooms can be used by exhibitors as an extra seminar or presentation room prior to or during a trade show.
Easyfairs also invests in an improved connection between the ground floor and Next Level. For example, new, extra escalators and a fixed staircase are placed in a central position. Next Level is also equipped with two new goods lifts that ensure that all kinds of materials and goods can be moved upwards. In addition, the new Next Level exhibition hall features state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, LED lighting and a fresh and modern design.
The Next Level website goes live mid-August, then the completion of the new exhibition hall is at the end of August. “We are going to celebrate the opening of Next Level in a big way. Not only for visitors and exhibitors, but also for other interested parties. Everyone can see the new showpiece of Evenementenhal Gorinchem, because we are already extremely proud!
